Must-Haves For Men

If you are a man who is trying to build a fashionable wardrobe, you are in luck. I have compiled a list of the fashion pieces you need for the winter months. These are the pieces of clothing or accessories that will help you to look and feel your best. Instead of trying to get by without what you need, spend a Saturday. Go to the store and pick up these items.

A herringbone blazer is one of these items. This blazer, which has small alternating diagonal lines is a wonderfully classic piece. They come and go, but they will always come back. Get a herringbone blazer for yourself, and you will have a great coat for a sort of dressed up casual (think: wanting to look casual but still impress the girl). You also will be able to wear this blazer out to some nighttime events, so it is an all-around must-have.

Every man needs a crisp white shirt. After all, what do you wear to work? What about dates? This piece of clothing is one of the essential of any man's wardrobe because you can do so much with it. You can dress it down with denim or up with a blazer. It fits at so many occasions that you should splurge. You will get your money's worth.

Do you know those v-neck sweaters that your Dad wore? Okay, maybe your dad did not wear them, but you saw Ward Cleaver with them on. Oh, those sweaters. Get one. You only need to get one, and it should be in a bright, crisp solid color, such as salmon or sparkling blue. The wonderful part about this sweater is that it can really add pizzazz to an otherwise boring outfit. You can wear it over a dress shirt or pair it with a pair of navy or black pants to make a statement. Your clothes also affect your mood, and you will want something that you can put on during the drab winter months that will make you feel better.

If you want something to keep you warm and that works for all occasions, try a black zippered cardigan. These sweaters are very snug and warm, making them great for winter days, but they also work really well if you want something more casual. You can pair them with denim if you would like or try the cardigan with a pair of wool pants for something really exciting.

No woman can resist a man in a pinstripe suit. This 1950s relic is back big-time. Pinstripe suits have never really gone away, but many men are rediscovering them. Instead of opting for the more traditional and more formal black or navy, you should try something different. Get a gray pinstriped suit because you can mix and match it with more shirts and ties and because it will help you to stand out from the crowd. To make this suit a good fashion choice, be sure that you have a couple of more exciting ties with which to pair the suit.

A cashmere sweater, especially if you get a zippered one with a hood, is a great way to make your wardrobe spicier. It is not something that you could wear everyday, but it is a good choice if you are willing to take a little fashion risk. Getting one of these sweaters in a color like orange will help to brighten up your wardrobe. You can stick with foundational pieces in more subtle colors underneath and then liven everything up with the hoodie. Pair it with a wool blazer, and you are ready to go. The best part is that you will be able to feel the soft wonderful feeling of cashmere, which will make you love the sweater even more.

These wardrobe pieces are just a few of the ones you will want to have if you are trying to put yourself together into a nicer wardrobe. Many men feel that once they leave college, they need to move beyond the jeans and t-shirts. Yes, it is great that you feel that way, but you have to know where to begin. These pieces are the place. Go out shopping and relax. You just may enjoy yourself.
