Shoes, glorious shoes

I may not have a closet full of shoes to rival Imelda Marcos, but I certainly have empathy for her. I love shoes.

Shoes are one of the easiest and most satisfying fashion accessories. A fun pair of shoes can change an outfit from classic to flirty in the instant it takes to strap them on. Shoes are usually well made and meant to cosset the feet. They come in every color and style imaginable, so there is a pair of shoes for every mood.

Shoes always fit. On a "fat" day, I hate to shop for clothing and don't even mention the word swimsuit in my hearing. But, I can always shop for shoes. With the possible exception of the tail end of my pregnancy, my shoes have always fit. And, even when I need a pedicure a pair of nylons or a foray for closed toe shoes only will hide all of my sins.

The best way to add spark to an outfit is with a great pair of shoes. Just try it.
