Science has much to do with the clothes and you can not spare the two! Back from the days of inventing the yawn mill upto Nanotechnology, these are interrelated. It is much known fact and an interesting question for the children that why buffaloes like to bathe in ponds and not the white cows? The answer is that buffaloes are black and therefore their flesh gets more heated due to the sunrays while cows are white, and therefore, they feel the heat less. And this fundamental of Physics is also applied to the selection of clothes, as during winter season, people like to wear dark color clothing and in summers, they like to wear light colors. Colors and clothing has a long relationship and when color and light is involved, science has its hand in it.
Nanotechnology is gaining popularity, as scientists are speculating that it can help in producing the clothes that will never be dirty, and there will be no need to wash or clean them. This sounds very interesting and astonishing but the fact remains to be seen, as there are so many things that this Nanotechnology promises, but people hardly believe it! But it is for sure that clothing industry is surely going to be benefited by the advent of Nanotechnology.
